Let me preface by saying I understand how difficult it can be finding honest reviews of normal people trying to find a good vet in the area- I am one of those people who searched and always wasn’t too sure. Radiant is right next to my apartment and I decided to take both of my cats here (they were very overdue and are very anxious) and it was genuinely one of the best vet experiences I’ve had. Both of my cats were very nervous and they made sure to take their time getting the cats comfortable before we started- the techs are sooo friendly and serious animal lovers. Dr. Bre was the best vet I have taken my cats to- very attentive, extremely knowledgeable, and the nicest Dr. you will come across in Naperville. If you are looking for a vet that your pet may actually enjoy, I’d suggest checking out this office. I also think theirs something to say about it not being a chain vet- they are very technically advanced and up to date with the most recent advancements in animal health. Is it more expensive? Maybe. Did I really notice how much more expensive? No. For a 1 time per year visit, I’d rather leave with all my questions answered and know for a fact that I can be rest assured they are happy and healthy. “Buy it nice or buy it twice” type of things you could say, except it’s probable only $50, if even that, more than a visit at the chain places.
From an honest, real perspective from a normal girl who loves her cats more than anything, you are 100% in safe hands here. I write this long review for those, like me, who never know where to take their animals - I get it, it’s nerve racking. I promise you are in safe hands at this office and will feel very thankful that you listened to this review.

First of all, I am acutely aware that many veterinary practices are either corporately owned or have been bought by the large dog food manufacturers…I want none of that…seems like the food they make are keeping our dogs perpetually going to their owned vet practices where the cycle continues.
I recently moved and have been looking to find a vet who not only has a private practice but also provides all the services that I want MY vet to be able to use if my pet gets sick or injured. The last thing I want to learn after being told my pet is very sick or needs surgery is that I have to go to an emergency vet because those services aren't offered…when my pet and I need familiarity, and understanding instead of casting us off to find our own help when we have just been given a scary but not fully confirmed diagnosis because of lack of equipment and the plainly can’t take pets when you really need the help.

I was delighted that I found Radiant!!! And even more delighted to learn that one of our former vets had joined the practice.

Radiant has extensive surgical rooms, CT scans, Ultra sound…everything that most pets will need when they become ill or hurt to help the vet diagnose and treat your pet. AMAZING!!!

The staff here couldn’t be nicer or more welcoming and made me feel at ease the moment I brought my two Cavalier King Charles pups in. Fair Pricing and no scare tactics of you might want to do this test…or guilt you into spending money for unnecessary tests or procedures. I could go on and on but I will by saying, my pets ( two dogs and 2 cats) are my family and I want to work with a vet practice who understands my concerns, has my pets best interests at heart and the expertise and equipment to diagnose and treat my pets. We followed our vet here from another practice and the minute we stepped through the front door, we knew that we had found the new care gurus for all of our family pets. On-boarding our pet's accounts and getting setup with the new clinic was professional and personal. The initial interviews were incredibly detail oriented and thoughtful. Not only is the facility mindfully designed and outfitted with everyone's (pets, families and doctors) best treatment and comfort as the goal, but the staff couldn't be more compassionate and attentive. Communication throughout each step of care is comprehensive. The services are tailor made to your pet’s needs from grooming, to a routine exam, to specialized treatment and surgery. The facilities are state-of-the-art and before your first visit is complete you know your pet is getting the best care possible. We even found out about deals on Rx drugs that no other veterinary office had ever shared. You learn quickly that the staff is comprised of talented people who truly love animals and dedicate their jobs to making your pets the healthiest and happiest they can be. We travel 20 miles each way with our dogs to take advantage of the Radiant staff and their expertise. (Jimmy and Harlan feel the love at the clinic and I joke that if they ever turned up missing, we would know where they would be found.) Dedicated to a non-corporate business model, Radiant is like traveling back in time to when most vets cared about your pets and their well-being because it was why they became vets in the first place.

We took our Great Pyrenees mixed breed in for grooming with Amber today. She exemplified all of the attention to detail and personal care that we receive with the clinical staff. She read my appointment notes regarding allergies, etc. prior to the appointment and made sure that she had special grooming products ready for our guy. Not only did they get acquainted before the spa visit, but her care in establishing trust with our skeptical/skittish boy made the visit a success. He was relaxed and looked great after Amber worked her magic.

Having recently moved to the area, we were looking for a new groomer as well as vet - this place has delivered on both fronts! We originally took Finnegan, our Goldendoodle, for a grooming appointment with Amber. Finn can be a bit of a nervous guy, especially when it comes to getting a haircut, but Amber was beyond fantastic with him. She took the time to not only chat with me about his cut, but went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable with her. And his cut came out great, to boot! While getting groomed, he also received a new patient exam - something they asked if I wanted - and Dr. Mike called me after to chat with me about a concern I had a spot on Finn’s chest. I appreciated his thoughtful approach and advice, taking the time to answer myriad of questions. If that positive experience wasn’t enough, not a week later, we were unexpectedly back in their office after our poor pup was bitten at doggie daycare (PetSuites Naperville - don’t get me started…) Having not found the bites until late at night, we were able to get Finn in first thing in the morning to see Dr. Bre and Mackenzie. Both were wonderfully helpful and kind to our poor guy who was pretty shaken up. Dr. Bre also took the time to chat with me, answer my questions and make sure Finn received the proper care and follow up. In both visits, they also followed up with a text the next day to see how Finnegan was doing. TLDR: this place is great for both grooming and veterinary care and I’m grateful we found them!

Amber went above and beyond to give me tips on how I can better take care of my puppies hair type & gave her an amazing cut despite having slight matting when I brought her in. Brought my cat Fireball here after a previous bad experience at another clinic, and the difference was night and day. From the moment we arrived, the staff clearly understood how to work with cats. We were taken directly into a private exam room, so there was no stressful waiting around other animals. The team was incredibly patient and gentle — they let my cat come out and explore on his own instead of forcing him out of the carrier, and adjusted everything based on his comfort level. What impressed me most was their attention to minimizing stress. During the exam, they stayed calm and responsive to his reactions (even skipping non-essential steps when he showed discomfort). For vaccinations, they thoughtfully separated the process so my cat wouldn’t associate me with the negative part of the experience. As a result, my cat stayed curious and relaxed the entire visit, which I honestly didn’t think was possible at a vet clinic. He came home and just calmly rested instead of being anxious or distressed. You can tell this team truly understands feline behavior and prioritizes the animal’s well-being, not just getting through the procedure.
